Stableford, Sunday 24th April 2005

Ten ladies played and the results were as follows:

 1st  Wendy Marshall  38 points
 2nd  Jean Grimshaw  30 points

The greedy was won by Linda Sliwa (best front nine) and shared by Patch Hatch and Tina Axford (best back nine).


Match vs Haste Hill, Wednesday 20th April 2005

Wexham Park fielded a team of 8 ladies to play in our first Match of the season at Haste Hill last Wednesday 20 April. We were all made to feel very welcome and ended the match all square in our first friendly encounter. We look forward to welcoming Haste Hill to Wexham Park for a return match in September.

April Medal, Sunday 17th April and Tuesday 19th April 2005

35 ladies played the April Medal and the results were as follows:

Pink Panther, Tuesday 12th April 2005

A total of 26 ladies played in the Pink Panther which took place alongside the medal. The Pink Panther is a strokeplay competition with each player's ball being marked with a pink dot and the person with the lowest nett score completing the course with their original ball is the winner.

Kim Wingrove Trophy, Sunday 10th April 2005

On the 10th April 2005 twelve players took part in the Kim Wingrove Cup. Kim was a 7 day lady and she died in June 2003. She had a wicked sense of humour, hence the format of the Chapman 2 ball. Both players tee off and then they swap over with their playing partner for their next shots. After that they choose the better ball and alternate shots are played until the hole is completed.

March Medal, Sunday 20th March and Tuesday 12th April 2005

The Tuesday ladies finally played the March medal on 12th April after cancellations due to rain.

Sue McEntee Trophy, Tuesday 5th April 2005

A field of 24 players enjoyed the first of the spring weather, with the course drying our nicely. The trophy was won by Maureen Bailey with a great score of 37 points.
