Seventy eight members and guests competed in this fantastic event, the course
and weather condition were just perfect. Lady Captain, Fran Wilson and her helper
Mo Mitchell provided a welcome pit stop at the 9th, offering a variety of drinks and
delicious snacks. It was good to see so many folk enjoying themselves and some of
the scores were very good at this point the highest being 27 for a man and 25 for
a lady.
Frank Jones did his usual great job as starter. Sarah Jackman raised £185.00 on the
Tombola, which will go to the Catain's Charity. The Juniors organised a chipping and
putting competition, which raised £90.00 for their section. Thanks also to Peter
Farhall and Geoff Hazelgrove for keeping the scoreboard updated and sorting out who
the prize winners were. Following an excellent BBQ prepared by Paolo, some wonderful
prizes were presented.
